About Resilience Kit
Resilience Kit helps children who struggle with their emotions, learn better ways to cope with life’s challenges.
Using evidence-based strategies, Gemma and her team help children improve their ability to regulate their emotions, enhance helpful self-talk and develop constructive behaviours.
Gemma Lee Taylor is the Groups Coordinator and Founder of Resilience Kit. She holds a BCom BSc(Psy) Hons.
Gemma established Resilience Kit when she saw the opportunity for children to benefit from participating in group-based services which focus on building resilience in the family to reduce child anxiety. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Business Law) and Bachelor of Science (Psychology), with First Class Honours (APS Prize Winner, 2015).
By recruiting and training a team of enthusiastic psychology students, Gemma and the team work together to help children enhance their social and emotional intelligence in a fun way. She develops lesson plans so that her team can teach through play, activities and games.
